I suggest making steaks from young cabbage. The taste is simply fantastic! Cabbage steaks baked in the oven with minced meat are a very tasty, satisfying and healthy dish that will be an ideal option for lunch or dinner. In addition, this dish is prepared very quickly and easily. Steaks from young cabbage are an independent dish and do not require a side dish or salad. It is not only tasty, but also healthy and suitable for people who watch their figure.
Ingredients
- Young cabbage - 1 kg.
- Pork - 250 g.
- Beef - 250 g.
- Tomato - 1 pc.
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 1 clove.
- Sour cream with a fat content of 20% - 2 tbsp.
- Hard cheese - 150 g.
- Ground smoked paprika - 0.25 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0.25 tsp.
- Meat seasoning - 0.5 tsp.
- Italian herbs - 0.5 tsp.
- Dill and parsley - 1 bunch.
Cooking steps
Step 1:
Cut the young white cabbage into 2 cm thick steaks.
Step 2:
Cut each steak in half for easy serving, cut out the stalk.
Step 3:
Put the vegetables on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Salt the cabbage steaks to taste, season with ground paprika and Italian herbs.
Step 4:
Grease the vegetables with heavy sour cream.
Step 5:
Wash the meat, clean it from fat and films, grind it into mince using a blender or meat grinder together with onions and garlic. You can use chicken, pork or beef for this recipe. Add salt, seasoning for meat and ground paprika to the mince. Mix thoroughly.
Step 6:
Place the finished mince on top of the cabbage.
Step 7:
Wash the tomato, cut into thin rings and place on the mince.
Step 8:
Place the cabbage steaks with mince in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Then remove the baking tray from the oven. Sprinkle the steaks with grated hard cheese. Return the dish to the oven for another 5 minutes so that the cheese on top melts and browns.
Step 9:
The finished dish is juicy and tender.
Step 10:
Serve the white cabbage steaks hot, garnished with herbs.
