Broccoli, Fried Chicken and Tomato Salad
Today I want to share with you one of my favorite recipes. I suggest making a simple, healthy and very tasty salad with broccoli, chicken and tomatoes. Bright, healthy and juicy salad is suitable for weekdays and for a festive table. Chicken fillet gives the salad a filling taste, and crispy juicy vegetables give it a unique flavor. This combination of ingredients will appeal to many.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 350 g.
- Broccoli 200 g.
- Tomatoes 2 pcs.
- Hard cheese 100 g.
- Garlic 1 clove.
- Mayonnaise 2 tbsp.
- French mustard 1 tsp.
- Chicken seasoning 1 tsp.
- Black ground pepper 0.25 tsp.
- Salt 0.5 tsp.
- Dill and parsley 1 bunch.
Preparation steps
Step 1
Separate the broccoli into small florets and place in a pan with boiling salted water. Blanch the vegetables for 3 minutes, then remove the broccoli florets from the pan and place them in a bowl with ice water to stop the cooking process.
Step 2
Wash the chicken fillet, dry off excess moisture, cut lengthwise into 2 thin pieces. Rub the chicken fillet with a mixture of salt and spices on both sides.
Step 3
Place the pieces of meat on a dry preheated frying pan covered with parchment paper.
Step 4
Fry the chicken fillet pieces until golden brown on both sides. Cool the meat to room temperature, cut into strips.
Step 5
In a deep salad bowl, combine the blanched broccoli and fried chicken fillet.
Step 6
Add fresh, fleshy tomatoes, cut into small slices.
Step 7
Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater and add to the salad.
Step 8
Prepare the dressing. In a small bowl, combine the garlic pressed through a press, French mustard and mayonnaise. Mix the mixture until smooth.
Step 9
Add the dressing to the salad. Wash the dill and parsley, dry off any moisture, chop finely and add to the salad bowl. Mix the ingredients.
Step 10
A delicious and mouth-watering salad with broccoli, chicken fillet and tomatoes is ready!
Step 11
Serve it immediately after cooking or pre-cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
