Flank Steak Caprese Pinwheels. Just Say Yum. Butterfly your flank steak and season with garlic salt and pepper. In a large bowl chop up tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil leaves. Mix in minced garlic and layer it on the flank steak, leaving about 1/2 inch along the edges. Roll the steak up and tie to secure it.
