Sup ubi- indonesian cassava soup

Here in Jakarta, we’ve been bombarded with rains. What else you need besides a bowl of hot soup on a rainy day. This sup ubi or Indonesian cassava soup is originated from Sulawesi. The name of sup ubi itself often gives a misconception for Indonesian people outside Sulawesi. For people in Sulawesi, ubi is referring to cassava while for those outside Sulawesi ubi it means sweet potato. Sup Ubi (Indonesian Cassava Soup) This cassava soup often consisting beef broth, egg noodles, cellophane noodles, fried & boiled cassava, bean sprouts and beef. Some people like to add meatball and a slice of hard boiled egg.
