As this weekend comes to a close, I hope everybody accomplished all they set out to do. I hope that you made your Sunday count. I hope you finished some grocery shopping, maybe had a lovely brunch outing with some friends, did some cleaning, and maybe a load or two of laundry. Or….If you are anything like me, and still have another day to your weekend… I hope you have not yet showered. (NO SHOWER SUNDAY!!! Really fun to chant through your house.) I hope you are still in your mismatched sweatpants/pajamas, sitting on your couch, making your husband watch the Sex and the City movie on TNT, while you get ready to eat these bad boys from A Cozy Kitchen for your brunch. Ingredients 2 LargeIdahoPotatoes 1 Stick of Butter, frozen or really really cold 1 Log of Sharp Cheddar Cheese A Drizzle of Olive Oil Salt and Pepper Scrub the potatoes clean under cold running water. Thinly slice the cheddar and butter. Make slices along the potatoes, about ¾ of the way down. Be sure not to cut all the way through.
