I don’t mean to come off sounding like my 70 year old, 4’ 10” tall Grandma, aka Midge, constantly complaining about the weather, but man is it hot! Normally, I can stay confined in my air conditioned house and not care about the weather. However, yesterday while venturing out to meet a friend at an outdoor mall, the weather started to interfere in my much needed retail therapy. Now, we gots a problem, weather! This weather, as I have said before, makes me not want to cook. It makes it pointless to wear makeup because it just sweats off your face. Another downside to the weather for those of us bespectacled individuals, is that, along with makeup, glasses go sliding down my nose at the slightest increase in heat. So, in another heat inspired recipe post, I come to you with some non-heat inducing, minimal prep, slow cooker meals. Try some Shredded Pot Roast Sandwiches. The crock pot does most of the work.
