There are certain things you have to do in a marriage, especially when you are married to a guy’s guy! Before any of you who know Mike say anything, yes, fine, he also happens to be well-versed in most reality TV shows and Sex and the City. Those are just things that a husband has to do when they are married to a kind-of-girly-girl-tv-addict. Those guidelines are for another time. Now, back to dealing with a dude’s dude. You can’t serve salads more than once a week. Always have some kind of carb or potato to go with a meat entrée. Sweatpants are allowed at the dinner table, but most often you will eat at the coffee table. This is a tough one. You will have to allow some kind of sports to be on your television for at least an hour. Every. Single. Day. For the rest of your life. If he has some other dudes over (and you like to cook) you should consider supplying at least one manly snack. Now, that is clearly dependent upon whether or not this was a well-planned out event or a sneak attack hang out tactic that your man pulled on you. …
