1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 large tomato, finely chopped 2 green chillies, finely chopped 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp tomato paste 1 tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp red chili powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder ½ tsp amchur powder (dried mango) 1 tsp anardana powder (dried pomegranate seeds) ½ tsp garam masala salt, to taste 2 tbsp cooking oil fresh coriander leaves, chopped for garnish water, as needed
