½ lb sirloin steak (or flank) 1½ tsps soy sauce 1 tsp cornstarch ground black pepper (Freshly) 1 lb broccoli (cut into bite-size florets) 1 tbsp cooking oil (high-heat, canola, vegetable, rice) 1 clove garlic (finely minced) 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated) 3 tbsps oyster sauce 2 tsps chinese rice wine (or dry sherry) 2 tsps chinese black vinegar (or young balsamic vinegar)
