I have been enjoying the sweet and savoury combination of grilled cheese sandwiches with jam for a while. With my newly made mango and cardamom jam in hand the first thing that came to mind, after the required display of the jam on toast of course, was a grilled cheese sandwich with mango and cardamom jam. There is just something magical about that melted gooey, savoury, cheese contrasted with a sweet jam all wrapped up in golden brown buttery grilled bread...mmm...
