Of course you knew this was coming; I just had to try using some of the sweet and tangy onion chutney in a grilled cheese sandwich! I have really been enjoying trying new variations of grilled cheese sandwiches and I have discovered that chutneys, jams and preserves work really well in grilled cheese sandwiches and the onion chutney version was calling to me. The onion chutney grilled cheese sandwich had a lot of promise and it certainly delivered! You just really can't go wrong with a pile of spiced, sweet and tart onion chutney smothered in ooey gooey melted cheese
