This basic recipe is my go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe when I need ‘em in 30 minutes or less. The Flax Seed in these chocolate chip cookies is entirely optional and doesn’t overwhelmingly change the flavor or texture of the cookie—but it gives it a little somethin’-somethin’ that sets the cookies apart from the fray.
