This recipe comes from my Great-Grandmother Una. She immigrated from England as a teen and from her I have inherited this recipe. The cookies are densely chocolaty and perfectly sweet. Any time I have a chocolate craving, these are my go-to cookies, especially since the dough is great too (shhh!).
