We begged, pleaded and whined EVERY Christmas for Grandma Stewart's Buckeye Candy. They were absolutely the best ever. Yes, they're peanut butter balls. But we're from Ohio, so they're buckeyes!
This is the orignial version of the recipe using wax. More recent versions use chocolate bark or melting chocolate. Wax sets up super well, holds together, has a very shiny coating and the chocolate doesn't melt in your hands.
