Peanut butter cup cookies

This recipe comes from a friend of mine. My son (at age 6) asked her for the recipe when he tried them at her house. She was just a little amused ... and sent the recipe home with him. They have been my kid's favorite cookies ever since. They are devilish if you like peanut butter cups.
