I found this recipe years ago in a Taste of Home magazine. Then I lost it, but recently found it again. My husband doesn't eat anything with tomatoes, so this is a great alternative to Sloppy Joes. I've modified it over the years and instead of using pita pockets, I make it with flat bread and top them with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream.
