These tasty sandwiches are traditionally served for breakfast in Poland, but they're also fantastic for a quick and light lunch or dinner. Although there are lots of variations when it comes to ingredients for making one's perfect kanapki, this is the way that my father makes them when he fixes breakfast or misses Poland. In my family, we usually make 3-5 per person.
