I found this recipe in Bon Appetit's March 2010 issue. The ingredients are simple-- whole wheat and white flour and soda (of course). I love the richness of buttermilk and the slight sweet taste from brown sugar. If you're afraid of yeast, this is the bread for you! It's nutty and slightly sweet. Slather it with butter and jam and Hello Ireland! I show how to make this on my blog, with more photos.
