A nice bartender in San Diego taught me this trick. I was aboard the U.S.S. Midway for a work-related event and I had asked for a ginger ale at the bar. (Afterall, booze and work functions don't mix.) She said she didn't have any, but she could fudge one really well. Boy, did she!!! She used Sierra Mist (that stuff is EVERYWHERE in California!) and Pepsi, but any lemon-lime and cola combo will work.
