Gluten free chocolate cake for a higher purpose

I converted a recipe for regular chocolate cake into gluten free so I could use it for a German chocolate cake recipe. It's such a delicious chocolate cake that I can't wait to use it for other chocolate cake needs. I hope others will find it useful when they need to make a cake for some hungry gluten free friends. Recipe makes two 8-inch round cakes.
