For years Atomic Cake was the cake we would get for my mom’s birthday. My dad would go to the local bakery buy this huge cake – with lots of layers, and we’d celebrate. This year for my mom’s birthday, she couldn’t decide what kind of cake she wanted, so we helped. Atomic Cake! But this time... I made it.
