My Mom made this all the time when we were younger. I remember being soo excited when she would tell us we were having it for dinner. It's been passed down from her Mom, who didn't make it in a slow cooker, obviously, but some changes are good! I love that I can prep this quickly in the morning, dump it in the crock pot, and dinner is ready when I get home! Delish!
