My aunt Marion used to live on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. This is her recipe for fry bread, aka elephant ears, aka, Navajo taco shell. You can top them with your favorite sweet endings like you do with funnel cakes. Or, you can put beans, ground meat, veggies, cheese, and salsa on and make your own Navajo Taco.
