The recipe may look long, but it's really a cinch to make. Straightforward, and ready to serve in less than 2 hours, including cooling time.
As a bonus, this cake is gluten-free. (If gluten doesn't bother you, simply replace the gluten-free mix with an equal amount of regular flour.) If you have a nut allergy, you can replace the nuts with granola.
Serve it with caramel sauce for extra decadence.
