One night at Milan’s Bar Basso the bartender mistakenly added spumante instead of gin while making a Negroni. From that happy mistake was born the quintessential Italian aperitivo, the Negroni sbagliato - the Mistaken Negroni - Campari, Italian vermouth and spumante. Salut!
