I love apple turnovers. It’s like having a slice of apple pie all wrapped up in its own package. Delicious! When I was a child one of my favorite things was the apple turnovers you could buy in the dairy case and I could assemble and bake them myself. I thought how easy those would be to make from scratch, well almost from scratch. I did do a little cheat and used crescent rolls that I had on hand.
