It's 5 o'clock in 3, 2, 1...Like the candy, this Lemon Drop cocktail is sweet and delicious, often times served with a sugar rimmed glass, it's just like candy. My Vanilla Lemon Drop Martini cocktail recipe falls somewhere in between the Lemon Drop shot and a Martini. I feel the vermouth takes it away from the classic Lemon Drop recipe and personally I think it is too sweet to be a Martini.
