During my childhood, this--Christmas--was my favorite time of the year. A box would arrive from my paternal grandmother, aka Mother B, and it was filled with a veritable menagerie of cakes, cookies and goodies. But above all, there were the perfect bites--my grandmother's pumpkin muffins. A subtle blend of your favorite holiday spices set in a simple bite.
