Maybe not for dessert, and definitely not a la mode, but this tart is a perfect holiday appetizer for a group. I also love it for dinner with a salad. Montasio is an imported Italian cheese, and so worth seeking out. It has a spicy sweetness that complements the sweet onions in this tart.
