Sweet and spicy ham and cheese panini

When I think of eating ham, I think of savory and sticky sweet at the same time. I love making these little sandwiches which are perfectly paired with a steamy bowl of soup. My secret ingredient is the orange marmalade. It's an unexpected surprise that pairs well with the spicy Dijon mustard on the opposite side of the sandwich. If you don't have a panini press, grilling them on a saute pan is great too. I also love to cut these up into quarters and serve at cocktail parties. They pair well with a bubbly Prosecco...As always, Happy Eating!
