On a recent flight overseas, the usual side of bread was replaced by two small pear and goat cheese crostini, which, to my surprise, were delicious. I promised myself I would duplicate them as soon as I got home; which I didn't do, and actually forgot about them until I was about to board a flight, a few weeks later, to attend a girlfriend’s baby shower. The theme? “A Life in Miniature”, so I created these delicious and miniature (flight inspired) canapés for the party.
