This is a twist on the Suffering Fools at Alder, which is a twist on the Suffering Bastard (apparently an old drink invented in Cairo in the 40s). I've made a few changes to the proportions, cut down on the ginger juice, added cucumber to the drink itself, and added club soda. Despite the many flavors, it melds deliciously together! And it's a great party drink - strong, unusual, easy to drink, easy to make.
