As most everyone knows, this pasta is named for prostitutes. Why? Because it is fast and easy to make, so that they can get back to work—or at least that's what my mother told me. But I wonder if it doesn't get its name from the mere fact that it is quick and easy to make. You can throw this sauce together while you are cooking the pasta. It is so tangy and delicious that it just might seem illicit.
