Opposites attract (citrusy sherry cocktail)

You may not have heard of it before, but this drink is based upon the Balm Cocktail, typically, a mix of Cointreau, sherry, orange juice, and orange bitters served in a martini glass; here, we simply omit the juice and bitters to let the sweet, orange-y notes of the Cointreau complement the almond notes in the Fino Sherry. Inspired by 2018’s <em>The Wife</em>, starring Glen Close, this unlikely pairing makes the perfect pre-dinner drink served alongside tapas-style bites, like nuts, olives, and cheese.
