Inspired by Kendra Vaculin's Heirloom Cherry and Cornbread Panzanella recipe on Food52, and Mark Bittman's Good Ole Fashioned Cornbread Recipe. This panzanella is the perfect picnic side: juicy and sweet from sun-ripened nectarines and cherry tomatoes, and hearty enough that a healthy scoop goes a long way. The cornbread is a terrifically dense and perfect absorbent of the fruit juices, yet holds up without getting too soggy.
