Lentil dumplings curry is a very traditional South Indian dish originating from Tamilnadu served for lunch in the weddings, during celebration times and festival days. Its called in the local language as paruppu urundai curry. Lentils are ground and mixed with herbs and spices and made into dumplings and then it boils with the gravy. The dumplings absorb the flavor from the gravy and they become soft and tender and melt in your mouth. Every bite is worth it. This curry goes well with rice.
