Everybody brings ideas to Ginger's Kitchen, and from that wonderful things are born. In this case we decided to combine a home made (McDonald's!) McGriddle with the idea of johnny cakes. We had maple sugar on hand but you can also use brown sugar. We tried it with both jack and cheddar cheese and liked both - so that decision is up to you. Much fun was had by all in the creative process - this kitchen included DrBabs, nannydeb, arielleclementine, aargersi, eateronly, MrL, Henry, Andy, George, Tim, and of course GINGER!
