Deep dark chocolate stout sorbet

Carolyn Ketchum, Alldayidreamaboutfood.com says: <br />"Stouts and chocolate are a natural pair, and this recipe combines the two in a decadent, dairy-free dessert". <br /> <br />I used Lindt dark chocolate with sea salt and substituted pure vanilla bean paste for the vanilla extract. The result was a dense, bitter, slightly sweet sorbet with a back note of stoute. <br /> <br />I served it side by side with a scoop of my vanilla ice cream with a few drops of warm caramel on top.
