Cocoa, pecan and date oatmeal cookies

This is a very different take on oatmeal cookies. I decided to substitute many of the basics like raisins and walnuts for some of my favorite things like dates and pecans. While I was at it, I added a number of fun flavors to give these oatmeal cookies rich and complex tastes. <br />
