I lived in Brazil for 4 years and from the many dishes I learned there, this Beef Strogonoff was one of the nicest recipes I learned. I do it over and over again when I have a big party - it's great because you can do it ahead and just warm it up when the guests arrive. Although Strogonoff is originally a Russian dish, the Brazilian version of Beef Strogonoff is very different and is a crowd pleaser all the time. You can use mild sweet paprika or the spicy paprika.
