This summer I made a recipe from Nancy Silverton's Sandwich Book for the first time. The recipes are pretty elaborate and I was overwhelmed just looking at them. Now that I've tried one I feel that a whole new dimension of sandwiches has opened up. This sandwich photographs nicely, but due to a technical glitch I wasn't able to upload the digital image.
