And just like that, 2018 arrived. In the words of every magazine cover and every human on Facebook’s timeline at the moment: New Year, New Me. Well, not really. Let me be the first to say that I quite like the ‘old’ me, I think she goes alright. Except, she doesn’t eat breakfast – pretty much ever. And while she knows that’s a really, really bad thing (come on, we all know it’s a really really bad thing), she just can’t help it. But, not one to take things lying down, I have decided that this change in date should be no different, and I will not go quietly into 2018! Not when it comes to eating breakfast, at least. So how about a resolution? Not one of those impossible, annoying, guilt-ridden-when-they-don’t-happen, it’s-MY-year resolutions though. Rather, one of the completely possible, small steps kind. Yep, 2018 me is going to be ‘old’ me’s spirit animal – and she’s going to eat breakfast, at least once a day. I am in no way holier than thou when it comes to nutrition – half the recipes on this blog are testament to that. I pretty much exist on meat, wine and chocolate. […]
