Every Christmas my Mom would make potato candy for my father. His father was from Norway and his mother was of Pennsylvania Dutch heritage. So I believe this is from my grandmother's side of the family.
My son was doing a report at school and needed to bring in a treat. So with a little help from me, he proceeded with caution and prepared his extra credit. He was quite pleasantly surprised at the results. Enjoy!
